PointsInPlay has been created to help online media and sportsbooks catch their users’ attention, boost their engagement, elevate user retention, attract higher traffic – and monetize on it.

This unique sports data-based platform employs gamification to challenge fans and bettors with pre-match and real-time sports questions on the upcoming and ongoing games. This feature adds a layer of interactivity - fans can test their knowledge and compete against each other to make the whole experience more immersive and thrilling.

Sports businesses on the other hand, can capitalize on it by inspiring more wagers, winning more followers and attracting new sponsoring options.

Overview

PointsInPlay can be embedded on your page in the form of a floating chat-style object (1) or static bar (2).

There are three Tabs inside the widget, which create the whole game:

• Timetable - list of matches with available challenges
• Ranking - leaderboards for various time periods and competitions
• Past matches - history of challenges with answers list

Game rules

• STATSCORE selects matches to be included in PIP in the administration panel
• All active games in PIP are shown on Timetable for 7 days period
• Prematch questions for challenge:
  • are active 24 hours before the game start date
  • can be answered until the match starts
  • could be connected with bookies prematch markets
• Live questions for challenge:
  • are pre-planned - there are 8 time periods for soccer games (4 for first half and 4 for second half)
  • can be answered for 60 seconds from the time they appear
  • could be connected with bookies live markets
• Additional live questions
  • may be triggered by specific time conditions or incidents (ex. penalty, dangerous free kick, corner)
• Answers settelments:
  • The settlement of answers is based on incidents, statistics and time delivered by STATSCORE
  • There could be change in questions resolution after the game will finished (not later than 1 hour)
  • After correcting each answer, we add points without subtracting for the previously approved answer
• After the game a list with correct answers for challenge questions will be available in client administration panel
